Callen is co-facilitating Carbon EDGE in Tamworth. Carbon EDGE for red meat producers who are looking to build on their understanding of carbon. The program will help participants move into a planning and action phase, identifying practices and technologies that could be incorporated into their business to benefit their bottom line and the environment. It is also suitable for advisors and other service providers looking to enhance their understanding of the current operating environment.

AgSTAR are helping to coordinate the return of Feeder Steer School in Armidale. The Feeder Steer School 2.0 will be an immersive three-day conference featuring a blend of presentations by industry experts, researchers, feed lotters and feeder cattle producers, alongside practical hands-on workshops.

Maria will coordinate Cattle Australia’s National Beef Leaders visit to Canberra including meeting with national leaders at Parliament House.

Maria is the National Coordinator for ICMJ. Hosted by CQUniversity and Teys Australia, the ICMJ Northern Conference is open to young meat industry professionals and tertiary students. The program will include guest speakers, interactive workshops, a careers expo and special dinner with awards presentation.

AgSTAR will manage a station at this event discussing technologies and careers in agriculture with high school students from across the Warrumbungle region.
